What is MedHealth Clinical?
MedHealth Clinical is a primary care practice with offices in Trinity, Semoran, Kissimmee, Zephyrhills and Winter Garden, Florida. It describes five locations across central Florida but does not publish a street address, so call (321) 422-2303 to find the office nearest you. Most of its work is adult primary care: wellness exams, health risk assessments, walk-in and scheduled visits, and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, congestive heart failure and hypothyroidism. It also makes house calls on request. Hormone therapy is one service among these. The clinic offers bioidentical hormone replacement therapy with pellets and refers to the Biote Method. Its Google listing shows a 4.8 rating from 470 reviews, under the category Medical Center.
The pellets are described as bioidentical testosterone and estrogen pellets placed under the skin, which release hormones over time. The clinic names six clinicians: Pedro Fabian Garcia, MD; Karla Miranda, MD; William Rivera Carrero, MD; Adriana Bueno, APRN, Family Nurse Practitioner; Modesta Rivera, APRN; and Darelys Sierra, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. It does not say which of them prescribe pellets. In its own words: "Our Biote Certified Providers tailor each pellet dose to individual needs."
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices, and it gives no consultation fee. It says most plans are accepted and that its clinics offer self-pay options for people without insurance. It does not say whether pellet visits, insertions or hormones are billed to insurance or paid in cash. It also does not mention financing, HSA use or membership terms. Before you schedule, ask for the full cost of the first visit, the lab work, each insertion and each follow-up, and get the quote in writing if you can.
What should you ask before you book?
Start by asking which of the five offices does pellet therapy, since the clinic does not say. Ask which clinician signs the prescription and whether that clinician sees you at each insertion. Ask whether the pellets are Biote products or compounded, and who supplies them, since the clinic refers to the Biote Method without saying where its pellets come from. Ask what the lab work costs and how often it is repeated. Ask whether any part of the program can be done by telehealth. Its FAQ answers yes when asked about telehealth, but it does not say which visits qualify. Finally, ask for the hours at your office, since none are listed, and how cancellations work, which the clinic does not spell out.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want pellet therapy from a practice that also handles your regular primary care, and you are willing to confirm the price, the prescriber and the office before you book. It is a weaker fit if you need a published price or a full list of what the program includes before you call.
