What is PRO Institute?
PRO Institute is a family-owned medical practice in South Florida with offices in Miami Shores and Davie. Dr. Gayan Poovendran, MD, is the regenerative sports medicine physician who leads it. His wife, Geetha Poovendran, is a co-founder. The practice also appears under the longer name PRO Institute Poovendran Regenerative Orthopedics.
Its core work is platelet-rich plasma (PRP), Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M) and stem cell treatments, with stem cells taken from fat tissue and bone marrow. Its procedures use ultrasound-guided injections and focal shockwave therapy. The full service list also includes ozone therapy, prolotherapy, IV infusion therapy, PRP hair restoration, microneedling with PRP, and Peptide & Hormone Optimization. The practice treats individuals aged 14 and older. The phone number is 305-209-1951.
Peptide and hormone care is one service on that list, alongside the regenerative work. It may be taken as supplements, injections, IV peptide infusions or topical products. It does not name the peptides or hormones it uses. In its own words: "Our PRO Institute specialists determine which treatment best suits you after discussing your medical history, symptoms, and goals."
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for any service, including consultations, the peptide and hormone program, or medication. It does not say whether a monthly fee would include medication, and it does not describe any membership terms or cancellation policy.
On its payment page, it lists cash, debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. It also lists two financing options. Cherry offers plan lengths with qualifying 0% APR options. CareCredit lets you split a payment into 6 monthly installments. It does not say whether it bills insurance, so ask.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who will write and sign a peptide or hormone prescription, and whether that is Dr. Poovendran. Ask which peptides or hormones would be used, since the clinic does not name them. If a monthly fee is quoted, ask whether it includes the medication, and whether the medication is a brand-name product or compounded.
Ask what the first evaluation costs, and whether the in-house lab testing it describes is billed separately. Ask what follow-up visits and repeat labs cost. Ask whether it bills insurance, and whether any visits can be done by video, since telehealth is not mentioned. Finally, ask how cancellation works and whether any fee applies.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are 14 or older and are looking at regenerative care for a joint, ligament or sports injury, such as PRP or stem cell treatment. It also makes sense if you are considering peptide or hormone care and want the prescriber, the medication and the total cost settled before you book.

We have not yet collected published prices or prescriber credentials for this clinic. When we do, they will appear here with a link to the page they came from — or a note saying the clinic publishes none, which is itself worth knowing. Call them for a price in the meantime.
