About Vibrant Women's Health and Gynecology

What is Vibrant Women's Health and Gynecology?

Vibrant Women's Health and Gynecology is a direct care gynecology practice at 1920 Lernhart St, Suite A, in Napa, California. It is a single office, reached at 707-264-1248. Dr. Kalie Li, D.O., founded the practice and is the only prescriber it names. The clinic describes her as a board-certified OB/GYN, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). She reports more than 15 years of clinical experience.

The practice focuses on perimenopause and menopause, and it also offers general gynecology, including annual well-woman exams, irregular bleeding, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, birth control, and urinary incontinence. Its menopause services include Hormone Replacement Therapy and a Healthy Aging and Longevity service covering cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. Visits can be in person or virtual. The clinic does not offer weight loss or peptide therapy, and it does not list office hours.

What does it cost?

The practice does not take insurance. Everything is paid out of pocket.

The Single Membership is $250 a month. The membership covers all of its gynecologic, menopause, and perimenopause services, with unlimited visits in person or virtual, priority scheduling, a discount on in-office procedures, and wholesale pricing on cash-pay lab tests and prescriptions. Paying annually gives one month free. It does not say whether prescriptions are included in the monthly fee. In its own words: "Dr. Li sources lab tests and prescriptions at wholesale cash-pay pricing, and shares those lower costs with patients."

Without a membership, a 60-minute initial consultation is $450 and a 30-minute follow-up is $300. Additional services are priced separately, and no figures are given for them. The clinic does not publish a price for hormone therapy on its own, and membership terms and cancellation rules are not published either.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the medication. Ask whether the $250 membership includes the hormone prescription, or whether the drug is billed on top of it. Ask whether the prescriptions are brand-name or compounded, and what the wholesale price would be for the one you would take.

Ask whether any clinician besides Dr. Li sees patients or handles prescriptions. Ask what lab work is needed to start and what it costs. Ask how cancellation works, and whether any unused part of a prepaid annual membership is refunded.

Because no office hours are listed, ask for them. It also does not name the towns it serves, so ask whether patients outside Napa can book virtual visits. If you have Medicare, ask about the waitlist, since the clinic does not currently see Medicare patients.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you are paying out of pocket, want a gynecologist you can reach directly, and are in perimenopause or menopause or need general gynecologic care. It is not the right fit if you need insurance billing, Medicare coverage now, or weight loss or peptide care.
