What is TECM Health?
TECM Health is a naturopathic medical clinic in Tempe, Arizona, at 201 E. Southern Ave., Suite 109. Care is organized around two naturopathic physicians, Dr. Corey Skubisz and Dr. Teresita Barrantes. Dr. Skubisz works mainly with chronic pain and movement dysfunction, using Total Body Restoration, EXSTORE therapy, and the ONE80 System. Dr. Barrantes focuses on women's health, thyroid care, and hormone balance, and sees patients in both English and Spanish.
Hormone work sits alongside pain and regenerative medicine here rather than standing alone. Options described include testosterone cypionate injections for men, bio-identical hormone therapy for women, and BioTE pellet therapy, plus regenerative joint injections (PRP and prolotherapy) and Jeuveau neuromodulator injections for wrinkles. There is no GLP-1 or medical weight loss program named. Telehealth consultations are offered for some services. The clinic describes itself as veteran-owned and keeps irregular hours, closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
In its own words: "At TECM Health, we offer personalized hormone optimization programs designed to help you feel stronger, more energized, and healthier."
What does it cost?
No prices are published for any service, hormone therapy included. There is no stated consultation fee, no per-injection or per-pellet price, and no indication of whether the monthly or program cost of hormone therapy includes the medication itself.
One page states the clinic is direct-pay and does not bill insurance; a separate FAQ on the same site says it accepts a variety of insurance plans. That is worth settling with a phone call before you assume either way. Ask for a written estimate covering the initial evaluation, any lab work, and the ongoing cost of whichever hormone delivery method (pellets, injections, topical) you'd be using.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which doctor would actually be managing your care, Dr. Skubisz or Dr. Barrantes, since their focus areas differ. Clarify directly whether the clinic bills insurance or is cash-pay only, given the conflicting answers on its own FAQ page. Ask whether the price quoted for Hormone Replacement Therapy includes the medication (pellets, injections, or topical hormones) or whether that is billed on top. Ask what lab testing is required before starting, how often it's repeated, and whether those costs are separate. If you'd use telehealth, ask whether an in-person visit is still required for any part of your care, such as pellet insertion or injections.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you're in the Tempe or Phoenix area and want naturopathic-style hormone and pain care from named physicians, with bilingual care available through Dr. Barrantes. It is less a fit if you're looking for a published price list up front or a dedicated weight loss medication program, since neither is laid out here.
