What is Alpine Medical Group?
Alpine Medical Group is a family medicine practice at 605 Chief Thomas Drive in Fairbanks, Alaska. Its services include primary care, women's health, pediatrics, dermatology, pain management and migraine treatment, along with hormone therapy, peptide therapy, nutrition and PRP therapy. Orthopedic services are offered in partnership with Pioneer Peak Orthopedics.
Dr. Rebecca Davis, MD, whose title is family and obesity medicine, is one of the providers who prescribe. Others include Haley Evens, APRN, FNP, FNP-BC, MSN, and Sarah Evans.
Hormone therapy uses EvexiPEL pellets for estradiol and testosterone, and the practice names progesterone as well. The EvexiPEL pellets are made at an FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility. For peptides, it names CJC 1295, and it names no weight-loss medication. In its own words: "Your practitioner will assess your labs, lifestyle, medical history, and symptoms to create a custom treatment plan".
It is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with later hours until 8:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday. It is closed on weekends. Telemedicine is available on request for established patients.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for hormone therapy or peptide therapy, and it does not publish a consultation fee. It does not say whether medication is included in any fee, and it does not describe membership terms, financing or cancellation. It accepts insurance, but it does not name which insurers are in-network. It is not currently accepting new Medicare or Medicaid patients.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs each prescription and whether the same provider will handle your follow-up. Ask whether the fee covers the pellets or peptides, or whether medication is billed separately. Ask whether the EvexiPEL pellets and CJC 1295 are brand-name products or compounded, and who makes them. Ask whether testosterone pellets are offered to men, since the clinic does not say. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and how cancellation works. Ask what "established patient" means before you request telemedicine.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want hormone or peptide care from a family practice that also handles primary care, and you are ready to get every price in writing before you book. If you need a published fee, a named list of in-network insurers or a named weight-loss medication, it is worth calling 907-455-4555 with those questions first.
