About Frontier Diet Clinic

What is Frontier Diet Clinic?

Frontier Diet Clinic is a weight loss practice. It offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, along with B12 injections and MIC injections, which it also calls lipotropic injections. It provides prescription weight loss care to people who medically qualify, and appointments are booked online. Its contact address is in Kent, Washington, and it lists offices in towns across several western and midwestern states, including Anchorage, Honolulu, Denver and Las Vegas.

Its FAQ says: "We are proud to offer convenient Telehealth appointments exclusively." That sits oddly beside a list of offices, and the clinic does not explain how the two fit together. It does not name who prescribes, and it does not publish hours. On Google it is rated 5 from 30 reviews, in the category "Weight loss service."

What does it cost?

Compounded semaglutide is $200 per vial, regardless of strength. Compounded tirzepatide is $310 a month for the lower strengths and $385 a month for the higher ones. B12 injections are $100 a month, and MIC injections are $100 a month.

The clinic also charges a Monthly Visit Fee of $100 per month. It says there are "No Minimums, No Contracts." Its FAQ describes the fee this way: "The monthly visit fee is a once-per-month, nonrefundable fee which covers every follow up visit you have during the one-month period in which you pay." It does not say whether the medication is included in the monthly fee or billed on top of it. It does not publish a consultation fee, and it does not say whether it bills insurance.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who writes the prescription, and whether that person is licensed in your state. Since visits are described as telehealth, this matters more than usual. Ask whether the monthly visit fee covers the medication or is added to the vial or tirzepatide price. Ask whether it bills insurance at all, and what the first consultation costs.

Ask which compounding pharmacy fills the medication and how the compounded product differs from the brand-name version. Ask what lab work or follow-up visits cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask how to cancel, and whether any part of the nonrefundable monthly fee could be refunded if you stop. Finally, ask which office you would be seen at, since the clinic describes both offices and telehealth-only care.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in one of the states it serves, already know who will prescribe, and want every fee confirmed in writing before you pay. If the clinic cannot name its prescriber or explain how medication is priced, it is worth calling but not booking yet.
