About Agape' W8 Loss & Wellness

What is Agape' W8 Loss & Wellness?

Agape' W8 Loss & Wellness is a medical weight loss practice at 7550 Lucerne Drive, Suite 303, in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Weight loss is the main service, built around the medications semaglutide and tirzepatide. Agape also offers peptide therapy, HRT and TRT hormone therapy, IV therapy, T-Shape 2 body sculpting, a Styku body scanner, red light therapy, blood labs and testing, and a program called Nutrient Rich Life.

Visits can happen in the office or by telehealth. In-office programs serve Ohio residents. Telehealth is not offered to residents of Alaska or Hawaii, and no other states are listed, so confirm your state before you book. No prescriber is named. Agape describes a dedicated in-house medical team and licensed providers, but it does not say which provider writes prescriptions. It holds a 5-star rating from 28 Google reviews. Hours are 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 1pm Saturday, and closed Sunday and Monday.

What does it cost?

Insurance is not accepted. In its own words: "Insurance is not accepted at this time." Every service is paid out of pocket. Financing through PatientFi and CareCredit is offered.

The six-month semaglutide plan is $178 a month, $1,068 in total, and the six-month tirzepatide plan is $267 a month, $1,602 in total. The first month of a six-month plan is listed as free. Three-month plans are $209 a month for semaglutide and $299 a month for tirzepatide. Starter doses are $145 for semaglutide and $249 for tirzepatide, paid once. Each plan is described as including a doctor consultation, but no separate consultation fee is given. The pricing does not say whether the monthly price covers the medication. Weight loss pricing is also advertised at a starting price of $149 a month, which does not match the plan prices, so ask which one applies to you.

A membership costs $199 a month and includes one IV each month, up to a $199 value, plus discounts on extra IVs, GLP-1 programs, peptides, T-Shape treatments, and HRT or TRT. No prices are published for blood labs. On changes to a plan, Agape says: "We offer flexible options for patients who need to pause or adjust their plans." The cancellation terms are not spelled out.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescription, and whether that provider reviews your health history before anything is prescribed. Both medications are listed as requiring a prescription.

Agape offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Its own fine print notes that compounded drugs are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Ask whether you would receive a compounded product or a brand-name one, and which pharmacy fills your prescription. The fine print lists Integrity Compounding Pharmacy in Sandy Springs, Georgia, so ask whether that is the pharmacy you would use.

Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication and the doctor visit, and what your total comes to on the plan you choose. Ask what follow-up visits, dose changes, and lab work cost. Ask how pausing or cancelling works, whether there is a fee, and get the answer in writing before you pay.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in Ohio near Middleburg Heights, or can use telehealth where it is offered, and you are ready to pay for medication-based weight loss yourself. Before you book, get the prescriber's name and the cancellation terms in writing.
