Some links on this site — primarily the "Visit" buttons on online telehealth provider cards — are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up with that provider, we may earn a referral fee. This costs you nothing extra: you pay the same price you would pay going to them directly.

The "Featured" lane on online provider pages

Above the ranked list of online providers in each category, up to two providers appear in a labelled Featured lane. Here is exactly what that means, because the usual industry word for it would tell you something untrue.

No provider pays for that slot. There is no rate card and nothing a company can buy to appear there. What the lane reflects is our commercial interest: those are the providers whose affiliate programs pay us the highest referral fee if you sign up. That is a genuine bias in our favour, and you deserve to see where it sits rather than have it quietly blended into the ranking. So we label it, cap it at two slots per category, and show the rank each Featured provider earned on the same 100-point method as everyone else — including when that rank is unflattering.

We call it Featured rather than Sponsored deliberately. "Sponsored" means a company paid for the position. None of them did.

Paid listings for local clinics

There are none. No clinic has paid us anything, and we do not currently sell placement, claimed listings, or featured status to local clinics — there is no product to buy. Inclusion in the directory is free and based on our research alone. No clinic can pay to be added, to be removed, or to change the factual content of its profile. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed here first and labelled on every affected listing.

What money does not buy

Affiliate relationships and paid placements do not change our research, our verification checks, the "Note" limitations we publish on provider cards, or the star ratings shown (which come from Google review data). Where we rank or highlight providers, the ordering reflects our editorial assessment of fit for the category — a provider cannot buy a better write-up.

Independent reviews

Wherever possible we link out to independent review sources — Google reviews for local clinics and Trustpilot for online providers — so you can read unfiltered customer experiences before deciding. Those reviews live on third-party platforms we do not control.
