About Dime Aesthetics
What is Dime Aesthetics?
Dime Aesthetics is mainly a medical spa built around injectables and skincare. Its services are Botox and Dysport, lip filler, facial balancing filler, Sculptra, Skinvive, regenerative injectables, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, Skinpen and RF microneedling, DiamondGlow facials, and medical weight loss. Medical weight loss is one service on that list, not the main one. The list does not include hormone therapy or peptide therapy.
Its founder and Clinical Director, Cassandra Giampa, RN, has over half a decade of experience in the aesthetic industry. The clinic does not name who prescribes its semaglutide program, so that is the first question to put to it. The weight loss program uses semaglutide and Vitamin B12. It includes weekly semaglutide injections, monthly in-office progress visits, phone check-ins as needed, and a meal plan and strength training plan.
What does it cost?
The semaglutide program is priced at $475 a month. The clinic does not say whether that fee covers the medication. It also says lab costs are extra. Before starting, patients need a blood panel that includes TSH, a complete blood count, a CMP, triglycerides and hemoglobin A1C. The clinic provides a Quest lab slip and accepts results taken within 90 days of the consultation.
The clinic does not accept insurance for the semaglutide program. It does not publish a consultation fee, and it does not publish cancellation terms for the program. Separately, it offers two monthly memberships, Smooth Society at $49 a month and Diamond Vault at $150 a month. Membership requires a three-month minimum, and payments can be frozen for up to three months at a time. In its own words: "Members pay a monthly fee, which is applied toward future treatments."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes and manages the semaglutide prescription, and whether that person reviews your labs and sees you at follow-up. Ask whether the $475 monthly fee includes the semaglutide and the weekly Vitamin B12, and whether the first dose given in the office is part of that price. Ask what the required labs cost at Quest and how often they are repeated.
Ask whether there is a consultation fee, whether the program has a minimum commitment, and what it costs to stop early. Ask whether any follow-up is done by telehealth, since the clinic does not say. Finally, ask how the monthly check-ins and 24/7 provider support work in practice, and who you would reach after hours.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want injectables or skincare from a medical spa and are also weighing a cash-pay semaglutide program. If medical weight loss is your main goal, call first and get the prescriber and the monthly cost answered before you book.
