About Apex Vitality

What is Apex Vitality?

Apex Vitality is a clinic that describes its care as physician-directed performance medicine. It serves Massachusetts and New Hampshire and offers telehealth. Its six service areas are Weight Loss & Metabolic Care, Hormone Optimization, Peptide Therapy, Diagnostics & Testing, IV Therapy & IM Shots and Aesthetic Medicine. The weight loss program names GLP-1s as its medication. The hormone program mentions testosterone therapy and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Diagnostics include DEXA, VO2 max testing, metabolic testing and labs.

Jonah Moser built the clinic. It does not name a prescribing physician, though its care level descriptions mention nurse practitioner (NP) interpretation of labs and an RN concierge. It does not publish a street address, office hours or a founding year. The phone number is 978-230-6512. Google lists it as a weight loss service, with a rating of 5 from 1 review.

In its own words, its Apex Core level includes: "Quarterly biomarker reviews with expert NP interpretation."

What does it cost?

It publishes one price: $199 a month on a 6-month commitment. It does not say which service or care level that covers. Its three care levels, Apex Core, Apex Plus and Apex Vitality Elite, appear without prices. Elite includes 150 Vitality credits a month, but it does not explain what a credit buys. It does not publish a consultation fee. It does not say whether the monthly price includes medication, labs or follow-up visits, and it does not say whether it bills insurance. It does not publish cancellation terms beyond the six-month commitment.

What should you ask before you book?

Ask who signs the prescriptions, and whether you will see that physician or a nurse practitioner. Ask whether the $199 a month covers the GLP-1 or hormone medication, or only monitoring and labs. Ask whether the GLP-1 is brand-name or compounded, and which pharmacy fills it. Ask what the consultation, labs, DEXA and metabolic testing, and follow-up visits cost on top of the monthly fee. Ask whether it bills insurance. Ask where the office is, what its hours are, and whether visits can be done by telehealth. Ask what a Vitality credit is worth before you choose Elite. Ask how cancellation works during the six months and whether any fee applies.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, or can do telehealth, want GLP-1, hormone or peptide care under physician direction, and are comfortable with a six-month commitment at $199 a month. Get the prescriber's name, the full price and the cancellation terms in writing before you pay anything, because it does not name a prescriber or publish full cancellation terms.
