What is Peak Performance & Prevention?
Peak Performance & Prevention is a functional medicine practice at 317 4th Street NW in Puyallup, Washington. It describes its team as nurse practitioners and providers of functional naturopathic medicine, but it does not name who prescribes. Its services are grouped under wellness, aesthetics and regenerative medicine. Weight loss sits within wellness, alongside IV therapy, hormone replacement, peptide therapy and sexual health care.
The weight loss program is built on semaglutide, which the clinic describes as a compounded peptide. Its blog says semaglutide is the same peptide as Ozempic, Trulicity, Rybelsus and Wegovy, and that the program pairs it with a meal replacement shake and a health coach. Google shows a 4.9 rating from 177 reviews. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and closed on weekends.
What does it cost?
The P3 Intro Plan is $1000. It includes an extensive lab panel, body composition measurement and an ECG. The P3 Annual Tx Plan is $3000 over 12 months. It adds three lab panels a year, follow-up lab reviews, an acute care visit and discounts on P3 services and products.
The 30 Day Weight Loss Kickstart is $200 on Plan A or $275 on Plan B. Both are shake and supplement packages, and neither includes a medication. An injectable peptide add-on is $200 when added to the kickstart. An oral medication add-on is priced on inquiry.
The clinic does not publish a price for its semaglutide program, and it does not say whether any price includes the medication. It does not say whether insurance is accepted. It mentions payment options and financing but gives no terms. It publishes no prices for hormone or peptide care. The first step is a free call. In its own words: "A complimentary Peak Performance and Prevention personal phone consultation with a customer service specialist will help you define whether a P3 Plan is right for you."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether that person is a licensed prescriber. The clinic does not name one. Ask whether the semaglutide is compounded, who makes it and where it is filled.
Ask whether the monthly price includes the medication, and what each follow-up visit and lab review costs on top of it. Ask whether a visit can be done by video. The clinic offers a free online Virtual Consultation Tool, but it does not say whether medical visits can happen remotely.
Ask whether insurance is accepted, what financing costs and over how many months, and how cancellation and refunds work. The office number is 425.441.3330.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you plan to pay out of pocket, want labs, body composition checks and coaching bundled with the medication, and are comfortable learning the prescriber's name when you call. It may not suit you if you need to know who prescribes and what the medication costs before you book.
