About MedShape Mesa

What is MedShape Mesa?

MedShape is a weight loss clinic group with offices in Mesa, Scottsdale and Peoria, Arizona, and in Maple Grove and Eagan, Minnesota, along with a nationwide telehealth program. It has been operating since 2004. Its main service is physician-supervised weight loss built around semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, with a clinician reviewing your health history before recommending one or the other. Beyond the GLP-1 programs, it lists fat burner and B12 shots, NAD+ therapy, anti-aging peptide therapy naming AOD-9604, CJC-1295/Ipamorelin and GHK-Cu, and non-invasive body contouring. You can be seen in person at one of its offices or entirely by video, with medication shipped to you.

In its own words: "Our nationwide telehealth program covers all 50 states, with consultations by video and medication shipped to your door."

This listing is for its Maple Grove office at 7368 Kirkwood Ct.

What does it cost?

Consultations are listed as free. The posted price for compounded tirzepatide is $149 a month, described as "from any dose, same price," with the clinician visit, dose adjustments and follow-ups included at that rate. Compounded semaglutide is listed at $99 a month on the same basis. There is no published price for the fat burner and B12 shots, NAD+ therapy, peptide therapy or body contouring, so ask about those separately. MedShape works with a financing company called Cherry and cites a 93% approval rate; it does not say whether insurance is billed directly, so plan on paying cash or financing the difference.

What should you ask before you book?

No individual prescriber is named in what's published, so ask who actually evaluates you and writes the prescription, and what license or credentials they hold. Ask whether the $149 or $99 monthly price covers the medication itself, or whether that is billed on top of the visit and monitoring already bundled into the quote. Ask plainly whether the semaglutide and tirzepatide you'd receive are compounded or brand-name, since the compounded versions are described on its own site as not FDA-approved for safety and efficacy. Ask what a lab panel costs if one is required, and what the process is if you want to pause, switch medications, or cancel, since no commitment or cancellation terms are spelled out.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a weight loss program with several physical locations across the Phoenix and Minneapolis areas, or would rather start and stay entirely on telehealth, and you're comfortable asking for the cost breakdown before you commit to a monthly plan.
