What is Beautox Bar?
Beautox Bar is a medical spa with offices in Maple Grove and White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Most of what it offers is cosmetic: Botox, dermal fillers, body contouring and Morpheus8 skin tightening. It has served the Maple Grove community for over 8 years and has a 4.9 rating on Google from 459 reviews.
Peptide therapy is one of its newer services. It says it can connect clients in all 50 states with a licensed physician for peptide prescriptions, handled through telehealth. In its own words: "we make peptide therapy simple and accessible." Its peptide list includes a GLP-1 option listed under weight loss and craving control, and NAD+ listed under longevity. It does not list hormone therapy.

What does it cost?
Each peptide has one listed price: BPC-157 at $179, NAD+ at $119, GHK-Cu at $139, Glutathione at $99, PT-141+ at $179, Thymosin Alpha-1 at $199, CJC-1295 at $139, Sleep at $99, Boost MOTS-C at $199 and Ultratrutide GLP-4 at $299. It does not say whether those are per dose, per vial or per month, or whether the medication is included. It does not publish a price for its weight loss program.
The 15 minute consultation is free, but only at the White Bear Lake office, Monday through Friday from 10am to 11am. No fee is stated for the peptide phone consultation with a nurse. It does not mention insurance or HSA and FSA cards. The payment option it advertises is financing, with pre-approval for up to $10,000 and payments spread over up to 24 months, and plans starting as low as 0% APR, subject to eligibility. Cancellations cost $100, and some restrictions apply, though it does not explain what they are.
What should you ask before you book?
Start with the prescriber. The clinic does not name the physician who writes prescriptions, so ask for the physician's name and license, and confirm the physician is licensed in your state. Ask whether each peptide is a manufactured product or a compounded one, which pharmacy fills it, and the generic name and maker of the Ultratrutide GLP-4 option.
Then get the money in writing. Ask whether the monthly or per-peptide price includes the medication, and whether it is priced per dose, per vial or per month. Ask what follow-up visits, refills and lab work cost, and what the restrictions behind the $100 cancellation fee are. Ask whether the list of towns it visits for peptides means someone comes to you, or only that the order ships there. Also ask which form you will receive, since the pages describe injections, pills, nasal sprays and sublingual strips.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you already want cosmetic treatment in a medspa, want a telehealth route to peptides, and can get the prescriber's name and the total monthly cost in writing before paying. If you want a physician you can see in person for medical weight loss, ask the questions above first, since it does not name a physician or publish a weight loss price.
