What is Mirar Aesthetics & Wellness?
Mirar Aesthetics & Wellness is a med spa at 512 NE 13th St, Suite B, in Fort Lauderdale, run by Dr. Yanetsi Landa. It's mainly a medical aesthetics practice, with Botox, dermal fillers, skin rejuvenation and laser treatments, and it pairs that with a wellness side: hormone replacement therapy, a weight loss program, peptide therapy and other wellness treatments. Dr. Yanetsi also guides patients through medical marijuana certification in Florida. Care is available in Spanish.
The weight program is physician supervised. In its own words: "Your plan may include FDA-approved weight loss medications, nutrition counseling, metabolism support, and regular check-ins to track your progress." It says it may prescribe semaglutide or other GLP-1 medications, or phentermine. The first consult runs 45 to 60 minutes, and follow-ups run 15 to 30 minutes, in person or virtually. Most clients stay in the program for at least 3 to 6 months. Hormone care starts with a 90-minute assessment with Dr. Yanetsi, then lab work and a personalized treatment plan. Hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 16:00.
What does it cost?
The Initial Wellness Assessment for hormone health costs $699. That includes the 90-minute assessment, a custom lab panel (ordered through Fullscript and drawn at Quest Diagnostics), a review of your results and a treatment plan. Supplements cost extra. It offers a free discovery call before you book. It doesn't publish prices for the weight loss program, ongoing hormone treatment, peptides or its membership, and it doesn't say whether it takes insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask what Dr. Yanetsi's medical credentials are and who writes and signs your prescriptions. For weight loss, ask what the program costs per month, whether that includes the medication, and whether the semaglutide is brand-name or compounded. For hormones, ask what treatment costs after the $699 assessment and how often labs are repeated. Ask what the membership includes and how you'd cancel it.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you're in the Fort Lauderdale area and want hormone or weight loss care from the same small practice that handles your aesthetic treatments, with virtual follow-ups as an option and care in Spanish if you need it.
