What is REJUV?
REJUV Aesthetics & Wellness is mainly a med spa, and medical weight loss is one of its services. It has offices in Encinitas and Carlsbad and names North County San Diego as its wider service area. Its other services include a peptide therapy program, Sermorelin and HGH, IV therapy and vitamin injections, whole body cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy, and a range of facial and injectable treatments.
The weight loss programs use Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, sold under brand names including Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus, Zepbound and Mounjaro. Visits are in person. REJUV describes its model as different from online-only programs, with patients meeting providers face to face on an ongoing basis. Google lists the business as a weight loss service with a 4.9 rating from 468 reviews.
In its own words: "Medically Supervised by a Licensed California Physician." REJUV does not name that physician or any other provider who writes prescriptions.
This listing is for its Carlsbad office at 6990 El Camino Real Ste M.
What does it cost?
The Semaglutide program is $229 a month, and the Tirzepatide program is $379 a month. Each is one flat monthly price that includes a free initial consultation, monthly in-person provider visits and medication adjustments. REJUV states that a dose increase does not raise the monthly price. It does not say whether the medication itself is part of that figure, whether insurance is accepted, or what the cancellation terms are.
The peptide therapy program is $199 a month, and REJUV describes it as including ready-to-use preparations and ongoing provider support. Its headline offers intro pricing, but it does not say how long that price lasts or what follows it.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and what their license is. Ask whether the same provider reviews your progress at each monthly visit, since no prescriber is named.
Ask whether the $229 or $379 covers the medication, or whether the drug is billed separately. Ask whether the medication is brand-name or compounded. One of REJUV's articles explains why it often recommends compounded GLP-1 options, so ask which kind you would receive and why.
Ask what labs, follow-up visits and extra treatments cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask whether any visits can be done by video, since REJUV does not say. For the peptide program, ask where the preparations are made and what the price becomes once intro pricing ends. Ask how cancellation works for each program. REJUV also mentions retatrutide and other personalized options without a price, so ask what those would cost.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want in-person medical weight loss near Encinitas or Carlsbad with one flat monthly price, and you are willing to get answers about the prescriber, the medication and cancellation in writing before you pay. If you need insurance billing, it may not be the right match.
