About Remedy Med Spa
What is Remedy Med Spa?
Remedy Med Spa is a medical spa in Nashua, New Hampshire, at 1 Cotton Rd, Unit 2, also serving Hudson, Merrimack and Manchester. It is owned and run by two registered nurses, Lauren Shea (RN, BSN, Aesthetic Nurse Specialist) and Paul Shea (RN, BSN, VA-BC). Its main business is medical aesthetics and an IV hydration lounge: injectables, dermal fillers, CO2 laser, microneedling, chemical peels and IV drips, alongside wellness services. Medical weight loss, peptide therapy and what it calls longevity medicine sit inside that same menu as added programs rather than the core of the practice.
The weight loss program is built around bloodwork, a body composition baseline, and weekly check-ins with a registered nurse. It describes "modern prescription support where appropriate" as part of the protocol, with GLP-1 medication named among the options. Peptide programs, run under what the practice calls Performance Therapy, are guided by Paul Shea, who has completed training in peptide therapy and cellular medicine through the Seeds Scientific Research & Performance Institute. In its own words: "We treat weight loss as a longevity practice."
What does it cost?
The Peptide Weight Loss membership is $499 a month. It includes a consultation, unlimited use of a bio-impedance scale, two wellness injections a month, weekly RN monitoring, exercise and diet recommendations, and a GLP-1 and peptide recommendation. It does not say whether the medication itself is included in that $499 or billed separately. A Weight Management maintenance tier runs $199 a month, for patients transitioning out of active weight loss. A Life Longevity Membership, built around three personalized peptides a month, a DEXA scan and ongoing guidance, requires a consultation to get pricing. Memberships bill monthly to the card on file. Financing is available through Cherry, a third-party lender; there is no stated policy on accepting insurance.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who actually signs the prescription for GLP-1 medication and what their license and oversight look like, since no individual prescriber is named for the weight loss program itself. Ask whether the $499 monthly fee covers the medication or whether that is billed on top, and whether the GLP-1 is brand-name or compounded. Ask what lab work costs beyond the initial bloodwork, how often it's repeated, and what the cancellation terms are for a monthly membership. If peptide protocols beyond weight loss interest you, ask for the price list directly, since those are not published beyond the membership tiers.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want weight loss, peptide, or longevity services handled inside a medically staffed med spa, run by nurse owners, alongside aesthetic treatments. It is worth a direct conversation first if you specifically want a program where a single prescriber's name, drug, and total cost are spelled out before you book.
