What does it cost?
Thrive does not publish prices for any service, so you will not know what a month of treatment costs until you ask. It also does not say whether any price includes the medication, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance. Free consultations are offered by text or over the phone only.
Ask for the full cost of one month before you book. That should include the visit, the medication, any injections and any lab work, given to you as a single number.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who prescribes. Thrive describes its care as doctor-supervised, but it does not name the provider who signs prescriptions. Ask for that person's full name and credentials, and whether you will meet them in person.
Ask whether the medication is included in the monthly fee or billed separately. Ask whether your GLP medication is the brand-name product or a compounded version. Thrive names Ozempic and Wegovy, and it says compounded GLP medications may be used when appropriate after consultation. Its own disclaimer notes that the FDA does not approve or evaluate compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality. It also says it works with licensed U.S.-based compounding pharmacies and FDA-registered outsourcing facilities where applicable. Ask which one fills your prescription.
Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost, and how often you will need them. Ask whether any visit can be done remotely, since Thrive does not say. Ask how cancellation and refunds work, and whether it accepts insurance or HSA funds.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want an in-person medical spa in the Englewood area, and you are willing to get the prescriber's name, the medication source and the full monthly cost in writing before you pay anything. If you need published prices or a named prescriber before you call, you may want to compare other clinics first.
