About Weight Loss MD
What is Weight Loss MD?
Weight Loss MD is a weight loss clinic based in Colorado, with offices in Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs. Its main service is medically supervised weight management, using prescription medications such as semaglutide, tirzepatide, phentermine, phendimetrazine (Bontril) and diethylpropion. It also offers hormone therapy (women's HRT, BioTE pellets and testosterone cypionate injections), sermorelin peptide therapy, NAD+ injections, and aesthetic treatments such as CoolSculpting and laser hair removal. For Colorado residents, visits can be online, by telemedicine, or in person.
In its own words: "At Weight Loss MD, we provide medically supervised weight management services for individuals in Colorado."
The clinic describes its providers as licensed medical providers, but it does not name the person who prescribes. Google shows a 4.1 rating from 291 reviews.
This listing is for its Denver office at 8100 E Union Ave Suite 104.
What does it cost?
The consultation is $99, labeled Provider Consultation and Medical Evaluation. GLP-1 pricing is where it gets confusing. Its published prices run from $99 a month for compounded tirzepatide/B12 or semaglutide/B12 injections, to $299 a month for semaglutide tablets (ODT) and $399 a month for tirzepatide tablets (ODT). A separate GLP-1 offer lists Get Semaglutide $179 and Get Tirzepatide $299, with no time period given. Other published prices include testosterone cypionate at $79 a month, hCG at $299 a month, sermorelin peptide therapy from $99 a month, NAD+ injections from $159 a month, and B-complex, vitamin C and vitamin D injections at $80 a month. It does not publish BioTE or pellet prices.
It does not say whether the monthly figures include the medication beyond what the product name states, whether follow-up visits and lab work cost extra, or whether it accepts insurance. Its GLP-1 page says ongoing care and shipping are included, but it gives no membership or cancellation terms.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who signs the prescription, and what name and license will appear on it. Ask whether the GLP-1 medication is compounded or a brand-name tablet, since both appear in its prices, and which of the $99, $179, $299 or $399 figures applies to you. Ask whether the monthly fee covers the medication, follow-up visits and lab work, or whether those are billed separately. Ask whether any part of the care is covered by insurance. Before you pay, get the recurring billing and cancellation terms in writing, including how much notice you must give. For hormone or peptide care, ask what blood work is required first and what it costs.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you live in Colorado, want weight management alongside hormone or aesthetic care in one practice, and are willing to get the prescriber, medication and billing answers in writing before you pay. If insurance coverage or a named prescriber is a requirement for you, ask about those first.
