About LOURE Aesthetics
What is LOURE Aesthetics?
LOURE Aesthetics is a medical spa at 1001 Arboretum Drive, Suite 139, in Waunakee, WI. In its own words: "The only med spa in Dane County owned and operated by Physician Assistants." Most of its services are cosmetic and skin treatments, such as Botox, dermal filler, IPL photofacials, facials and laser hair removal. It also offers medical weight loss and hormone health, and it offers virtual consults as well as in-person visits. Its pages name Madison, Middleton, Sun Prairie and Verona, but the only street address given is the Waunakee one.
The prescribers are Nikki Grossen and Amy Bernards, both board-certified physician assistants. Nikki Grossen is a board-certified PA with over 10 years of experience optimizing hormones. The weight loss program starts with a consultation with Amy, and Nikki builds the hormone plan once lab results are in. The weight loss program uses GLP-1 injectable medications named Wegovy (Semaglutide), Zepbound (Tirzepatide), and an oral option called Foundayo, along with nutrition support and monthly one-on-one support. The clinic does not publish its hours or how long it has been open.
What does it cost?
The clinic lists the monthly weight loss program at "$100/month to start." It does not say whether that monthly price includes the medication itself. It does say that supplies, a sharps container, follow-up visits, and bloodwork with review are included. It does not publish a consultation fee, a cancellation policy, or any commitment length for the monthly program. Hormone and skin treatment prices are not published.
Its wording on insurance conflicts. One statement says it does not accept medical insurance. Another says, "We will send Zepbound® and Wegovy® through your insurance if you have coverage." It also says it accepts flexible spending, FSA and HSA accounts.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes the prescription and whether the $100 monthly price includes the medication. Ask whether the medication is the brand-name product or another version. Ask which insurance statement is correct and whether your plan covers Wegovy or Zepbound.
Ask what the consultation costs and what lab work and follow-up visits cost beyond the monthly fee. Ask how the monthly program is cancelled and whether there is a minimum commitment. Ask about hours by calling 608.886.0022, since none are listed.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a medically supervised weight loss program with a physician assistant consultation and monthly support, and you are comfortable paying cash for a program whose full price is not published. If you are looking for peptide therapy or longevity medicine as its own service, the clinic does not list it that way. Its "LOURE LONGEVITY" name is attached to its Wegovy program, so ask what that name covers before you book.
