About The Longevity Lab
What is The Longevity Lab?
The Longevity Lab is a cash-pay, physician-led clinic at 3204 Smokey Point Drive Suite #101 in Arlington, WA 98223. Its main focus is longevity and performance, combining medical care, lab work, metabolic and body testing, and personal training. The prescriber is Dr. Mona Fahoum, a naturopathic physician and owner with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Marqie Postl is a personal fitness trainer and nutrition coach, not a listed prescriber.
The clinic offers a GLP-1 weight management program, a hormone optimization program, longevity-focused medication management, general care, lab services, a gut reset program, resting metabolic rate and VO2 max testing, body composition scans, Cognivue cognitive screening, and strength and rehab-informed training. The medications named are GLP medications and hormone pellets. In its own words: "You deserve more than an 8-minute visit and a prescription." Google lists it as a wellness center with a 5 rating from 11 reviews. It does not publish office hours, and it does not say whether medical visits can be done by video.
What does it cost?
The GLP-1 Weight Management Program is $350 a month with a six-month minimum, or $600 a month with weekly personal training for six months. The $350 price does not include medication, supplements or other labs, which are billed separately. GLP medication is listed as available through the clinic's own compounder only.
The Hormone Optimization Program is $1000 for six months, and the GUT Reset and Cleansing Program is $1800 for three months. The Foundations, Performance and Elite packages are $595, $1195 and $2595 a month, each with a six-month minimum. Their listings include GLP medication, yet they also say medications are separate, so confirm that point. Single tests cost $65 for Cognivue, $50 for a Styku scan, $175 for resting metabolic rate and $250 for VO2 max.
The consultation is listed as complimentary, but a $100 introductory visit with Dr. Mona and a $300 results and strategy session also appear. The clinic does not bill or submit claims to insurance, since insurance covers injury and illness rather than wellness and longevity. It states that FSA and HSA plans should be usable. You cannot cancel before the six-month commitment ends. After that, you can cancel at any time on the maintenance plan. An emergency pause is possible, but the team decides it.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who writes each prescription and what credential they hold, since no credential abbreviation is published. Ask whether the GLP medication is brand-name or compounded, and whether it is covered by the monthly fee. Ask whether hormone pellets are billed on top of the program. Ask what follow-up visits and lab work cost after the first six months, and what the maintenance plan costs. Ask whether medical visits can be done by video, whether the $100 introductory visit is charged in addition to the consultation, and what the office hours are.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you are paying cash, want testing, medical oversight and training in one place, and can commit to at least six months. It is a weaker fit if you want a single visit, or if you expect the monthly fee to cover the medication itself.
