What is Aether Medicine?
Aether Medicine is a physician-led concierge practice at 660 American Ave, #103, in King of Prussia, in the Philadelphia area. Plans are supervised by Dr. Asare B. Christian, described as a board-certified physician specializing in precision longevity and regenerative medicine.
It works in three layers: testing, treatment, then lifestyle work. Testing can include advanced blood panels, a full hormone panel, biological age testing, VO2 max and metabolic testing, microbiome analysis and genetic profiling. Treatment options include hormone replacement (pellet and non-pellet) for testosterone, estrogen, progesterone and thyroid; GLP-1 medication for weight and blood sugar, prescribed and monitored by a physician; peptide therapy; PRP, exosomes and stem cells; ozone therapy; and therapeutic plasma exchange. It also has a longevity program built on biological age, hormone, blood sugar and inflammation testing, followed by a physician-led plan. Sleep, stress, nutrition and exercise work are built into each plan.
Hormone and metabolic care is available by video for patients across Pennsylvania, with blood drawn close to home. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
What does it cost?
Aether Medicine does not publish prices. It doesn't list a consultation fee, program fees or the cost of testing, and it doesn't say whether it takes insurance. Ask for a written estimate before any testing starts.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask what the first visit costs and which tests are included in it. Ask the price of each additional test before you agree to it. Ask the monthly cost of hormone therapy or GLP-1 care and whether the medication is included. Ask whether the GLP-1 is brand-name or compounded. For peptides, stem cells and exosomes, ask which uses are FDA-approved and which aren't. Ask whether it accepts insurance or works on a membership.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you're in the Philadelphia area or elsewhere in Pennsylvania, want a physician to look at hormones, metabolism and aging together with detailed testing, and are ready to ask about costs up front. If you want a simple weight loss prescription at a posted price, this is likely more than you need.
