What is VitalHealth Partners?
VitalHealth Partners is an integrative medicine practice with offices in Willoughby Hills and Westlake, Ohio, serving the Greater Cleveland area. Dr. Todd Pesek, MD, is the only prescriber named. The clinic describes its care as MD-led, with registered nurses giving the vitamin infusions. Its Google listing shows a 4.3 rating from 13 reviews, under the category holistic medicine practitioner.
It offers four services. Hormone optimization covers bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Vitamin IV therapy is the second. Advanced clinical therapies, which the clinic lists as hyperbaric oxygen, infrared sauna and colon hydrotherapy, are offered at the Westlake office. The fourth is the VitalHealth Optimization Panel (VHOP), the clinic's own lab panel. The practice says it has served the community for over 20 years, and it describes its hormone protocols as designed for longevity medicine. Telehealth is offered at both offices, which are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This listing is for its Westlake office at 24700 Center Ridge Rd.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices. The consultation fee, the VHOP panel, hormone therapy and IV infusions all lack a number, and the clinic does not say whether a monthly fee or the medication is included. On insurance, the clinic writes: "Our approach emphasizes transparency, including clear information on insurance, HSA and FSA eligibility, and out-of-network reimbursement." That names the topics but does not say whether the clinic takes your plan. Get every number in writing before you book.
What should you ask before you book?
Who writes and signs the hormone prescription, and how closely Dr. Pesek reviews each case? Does any monthly fee cover the medication, and what does the hormone cost on its own? Is the hormone a manufactured product or a compounded one, and which pharmacy fills it? What do the VHOP panel, the first visit, follow-up visits and repeat lab work cost?
Does the clinic bill insurance, or does it only support out-of-network reimbursement? Which states can telehealth cover, since none are named? How does cancellation work, since no membership terms appear? Finally, will your primary care doctor receive your results? The clinic states that it is not a primary care provider, so that handoff is yours to arrange.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want physician-led hormone care, you are ready to pay for it yourself, and you plan to keep your regular doctor involved. Anyone looking for weight loss medication or peptide therapy will not find either here.
