What is LX Medical?
LX Medical is a membership-based lifestyle medicine practice founded in 2019 in Edina, Minnesota. It also has an office in Tampa, Florida. Aundria Riggen, PA-C and James Riggen, PA-C are the co-founders, and JoAna Werner, PA-C is a partner. It does not say which of the three prescribes the GLP-1 or peptide medications.
The practice offers GLP-1 weight management with semaglutide or tirzepatide, hormone optimization with bioidentical hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and longevity care that includes IV therapy, NAD+, and a P360 Assessment that produces what it calls an Aionic Report. It also offers regenerative treatments and same-day appointments, along with house calls and video visits. It has more than 600 members and a 4.8 rating from 85 Google reviews. In its own words: "This is medical weight management, not a prescription mill."
What does it cost?
Membership is billed per adult each month. The $259 tier includes house calls and urgent care, with in-clinic visits at $150 each and specialty physician access at $250 a consult. The $499 tier includes in-clinic visits and P360 Assessments twice a year. The $899 family tier covers children 21 and under at no extra cost. The $1,250 tier adds extended hours, advanced longevity testing, and MedJet air ambulance enrollment. On the other tiers, children 21 and under are $25 a month each. Consultations are complimentary.
It does not publish prices for weight management, hormone therapy, peptides, or IV therapy. It does not say whether medication is included in any membership fee. It does not bill insurance directly, though many services may be eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement, and it provides receipts for submission. It does not say whether it accepts any other insurance. On cancellation, it states: "You can cancel at any time with 30 days notice."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask which provider writes the semaglutide and tirzepatide prescriptions, since it does not name one. Ask whether the monthly membership covers the medication or whether it is billed on its own, and what that costs.
For peptides, ask whether each one is brand-name or compounded. The clinic states its peptides come from licensed compounding pharmacies, so ask which pharmacy supplies them and what purity and potency testing applies.
Ask what the baseline labs, follow-up labs, and visits cost, since none are priced. Request a written estimate for the first stretch of treatment that includes membership, medication, labs, and visit fees, and ask how much of it an HSA or FSA would reimburse. Finally, confirm whether any medication or lab charges continue during the 30 days notice period.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a membership practice with named providers, house calls or video visits, and you are comfortable paying a monthly fee for ongoing care across weight, hormones, and longevity. It is a weaker fit if you need a published price for one treatment before you book, because weight, hormone, peptide, and IV prices are not published.
