What is TribecaMed?
TribecaMed is a doctor-owned functional, integrative and anti-aging medicine practice at 777 Arthur Godfrey Rd in Miami Beach. Its founder and medical director is Jason Shapiro, MD, who describes over 20 years of experience as an internal medicine and anti-aging medicine physician. Dr. Luis Dominguez, a board-certified osteopathic physician, focuses on longevity, functional and regenerative medicine. The team also includes nurse practitioners, who aren't named.
For hormones it lists BHRT for men and for women, menopause treatment, pellet therapy and testosterone optimization. It lists Peptide Therapy, and its weight loss menu names semaglutide and tirzepatide. Dr. Dominguez builds individualized longevity plans. Care runs in four steps: testing (blood work, stool tests, cardiac monitoring and InBody analysis), a 60 minute consultation with a medical doctor or nurse practitioner, a 90 Day Treatment Plan with a nutrition and lifestyle program, then follow-up visits to adjust treatment. In its own words: "Dr. Shapiro offers telemedicine consultations to patients throughout the United States." Most blood tests can be done at a Labcorp near you, and some specialized tests use home kits.
What does it cost?
It does not publish prices for consultations, testing, hormones, peptides or weight loss medication. It doesn't say whether it takes insurance. Given how much testing comes before treatment, ask for the total cost of the first round of tests, the consultation and the 90 day plan before you book.
What should you ask before you book?
Ask who will manage your care day to day: Dr. Shapiro, Dr. Dominguez or a nurse practitioner. If you want semaglutide or tirzepatide, ask whether it is brand-name or compounded, what a month costs, and whether that price includes the medication and follow-up visits.
Ask which tests are required, what they cost, and whether any can be billed to insurance. Ask what happens when the 90 day plan ends and what ongoing care costs. If you'd be seen by video, ask how prescriptions, refills and follow-up labs work where you live. Office hours aren't listed, so ask about those too.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you want a physician-led program in Miami Beach, or by video, that combines hormones, weight loss and longevity care and starts with extensive testing. It is less of a fit if you want a quick prescription at a published price.
