About Mini Health Clinic

What is Mini Health Clinic?

Mini Health Clinic is a weight loss and lifestyle medicine practice that sells its programs for a set price. Weight loss is its main service. It also lists lifestyle primary care, hormone therapy and peptide therapy. Kemeisha Morgan, a nurse practitioner and the clinic's founder, is the only prescriber the clinic names.

The clinic has offices in Clermont, Kissimmee, Orlando and Palm Beach, and it says it serves patients in Florida only. Visits can be virtual or in office. Its weight loss programs use phentermine, semaglutide or tirzepatide. Each includes an InBody scan that measures body fat, muscle and hydration, plus coaching, meal plans and weekly check-ins. Its Google listing shows a 4.9 rating from 68 reviews.

In its own words: "Our clinic is a sanctuary where judgment is left at the door."

This listing is for its Kissimmee office at 318 John Young Pkwy Ste 5.

What does it cost?

Weight loss prices depend on the medication, the length of the program and, for some options, the dose range. Semaglutide is $335 a month, $600 to $900 for 12 weeks depending on dose, and $2,400 for the first year. The second year is $3,000, or $3,000 when starting at 2.5mg. Phentermine is $200 a month or $450 for 12 weeks. Tirzepatide is $535 a month, $1,200 to $1,500 for 12 weeks depending on dose, and $5,500 for the first year. The second year is $6,000, or $6,000 at 10mg.

Primary care is $85 a month on a one-year subscription, or $850 paid in full. Financing is offered through CareCredit. The clinic does not say whether its program prices include the medication, and it does not say whether it accepts insurance. One MiniRx line mentions co-pays as low as $25 a month if insurance covers the medication, so ask about that.

What should you ask before you book?

Start with the price. Ask whether the monthly or 12-week fee includes the medication, or whether the drug is billed separately. Ask whether semaglutide and tirzepatide are brand-name products, such as the Wegovy and Zepbound pens the clinic also mentions, or compounded versions. Ask who writes and reviews the prescription, and how often you would see the prescriber. Ask what follow-up visits, labs and repeat InBody scans cost once you are enrolled. Ask how hormone and peptide therapy work, since the clinic lists them without naming a medication or price. Finally, ask how to cancel a monthly program and whether a 12-week or yearly payment can be refunded, because the clinic does not say.

Who is it a good fit for?

This is a good fit if you want a medication-based weight loss program with coaching, you live near or can travel to one of its four offices, and you are ready to pay directly or finance through CareCredit. If you are mainly interested in hormone or peptide therapy, get the medications and prices in writing before you book.
