What is Longevity Integrative Wellness Center?
Longevity Integrative Wellness Center is a cash-pay medical practice at 1901 Kipling Street, Suite A, in Lakewood, Colorado. Darrick Payne, MD, is the prescriber. The practice describes itself as regenerative, functional, and age-management or anti-aging medicine. It offers medical weight loss, hormone optimization, and anti-aging care, along with concierge plans, lab panels, PRP and trigger point injections, shockwave therapy, microneedling, and the Galleri cancer screening test. It does not offer peptide therapy.
Weight loss care starts with a consultation and primary labs, and may include prescriptions for GLP's and other weight loss medications. Hormone care is built on BioTE pellet therapy, in which pellets containing testosterone and/or estrogen are placed under the skin through a very small incision. Dr. Payne completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and practiced anesthesiology in the Denver area for a number of years. Phone calls, telehealth, and next-day appointments are offered when available. Listed hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 to 4, with Saturday and Sunday closed. No Friday hours are listed. What does it cost?
The consultation and labs for medical weight loss are $500, and any medications prescribed are charged in addition. The clinic does not publish medication prices. Hormone pellet placements are $720 for men and $360 for women, and the extra blood panels used to monitor hormone levels are billed separately. The annual Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine Plan is $5000 and includes quarterly appointments and annual lab work, but not further tests. The Men's Mental Wellness Plan is $2500 a year for twelve 50-minute sessions. Initial consultations with lab panels cost $500 (Silver), $750 (Gold), or $1000 (Platinum). Follow-up visits run $140 to $250, and the Galleri test is $1000. The practice does not accept insurance plans. In its own words: "Some of these prices can vary depending on the scope necessary for your individual situation. Please ask for details."
What should you ask before you book?
Ask whether Dr. Payne writes each prescription himself and what visits come first. Ask what a month of the weight loss medication costs on top of the $500 consultation, whether it is a brand-name drug or a compounded one, and which pharmacy fills it. Ask how many follow-up visits a typical plan needs and what labs cost at each one, since those are priced separately. For hormone pellets, ask how often placements are needed and what the monitoring panels cost.
Ask how a concierge plan can be cancelled and whether any part of the annual fee is refunded, because the cancellation terms are not stated. Ask whether the office is open on Fridays, since none are listed.
Who is it a good fit for?
This is a good fit if you plan to pay cash, want one physician to handle weight loss, hormone, and anti-aging care, and will get the medication and lab costs confirmed before you book. If you need insurance billing, Medicare, or weekend appointments, call first.
